It includes questions for managers to answer, checklists for the equipment, tools, and technology, and tips for better communication and efficient collaboration.

Work from home preparation for HR

  • Do you have a work from home guidelines? (If you don’t, here’s a template)
  • Have you made sure your employees have access to this document and read it?
  • Do the employees have access to their personal details on the HR management software when needed? 
  • Do the employees know how & whom to ask for support when needed?

  • Have the employees requested for remote permission via the HR management software?
  • Have you made sure that the employees are equipped with the necessary home office equipment (e.g company-issued laptops and phones)?
  • Are the employees equipped with the necessary technology they need to work from home?

  • Has IT ensured that the company’s files and data are secured in the employees’ equipment?
  • Have the VPN, Email Security & Encryption and Password Manager been taken care of?
  • Has IT made sure employees have up-to-date versions of Operating Systems and Anti-Virus Software?
